Keyword density is one of the bigger challenges that you have to face when implementing any SEO strategy. You don’t maximize your SEO copywriting if you use too few of those keywords, while you risk getting penalized by the search engines (Google in particular) if you use too much. For most SEO implementers and web masters, the trouble is with striking that perfect balance. Here are a few tips for finding that safe ground where you maximize your content and minimize penalties at the same time.

Stick to Tradition

The SEO community is one with a very long memory span: many SEO forum members can remember trends up to half a decade back. And for the longest time, SEO practitioners have been using a time-honored number for the keyword density in their website content.
Generally, the ’safe’ number you’ll see most Internet marketers use falls between 3% and 5%. With a density like that, it’s almost impossible for your content pages to get penalized for keyword stuffing. That’s a pretty big advantage of sticking to the tried-and-tested number; your pages stay relatively safe despite changes in the ranking algorithm, which tend to come pretty often with the search engines.

Market and Market Alike

There’s a wide array of free SEO analysis tools nowadays, and they offer you an alternative way to answer the keyword density question. After all, you don’t necessarily have to use the analysis tools on your own pages.

Sites that make it to Page 1 on any search engine are usually the ones with the ideal combination: lots of content, innumerable one way links and – not least of all – just the right concentration of keywords. The fact that those pages are among the Top 10 results means that they must be doing something right, something that you should be doing yourself.
Aim those analytical applications at the Top 10 pages and see for yourself how much they use keywords. Now, it’s highly likely that you’ll end up with a normal distribution of values instead of a single number when you look at all the search results on Page 1. Just pick the average or the number that’s at the very middle, and you should do fine.

The Professional Touch

Of course, the easiest way to take all the guesswork out of any SEO campaign is to just get a professional marketing company to take care of SEO copywriting for you. Those companies already have their own established methods for finding the keyword density that’s needed to get you to Page 1. And having all those professional copywriters on your side won’t hurt, either.

A professional marketing company is also a worthy investment because you get to pay for their experience in the field. It may not sound like much, but experience counts for a lot when you’re trying to preempt the changes that will happen with the next ranking algorithm. SEO is a battle, and the victor is usually the one with the better prepared strategy.

Fact, the most difficult point in starting any Opportunity is the Starting Point in advertising. Here are a few thoughts:

Don’t try to be an expert in everything. Focusing on trying to do everything in advertising will result in nothing. You must have focus in one or two areas of advertising.

Start with the simplest and still the most effective form of advertising….Banners. If you are fortunate enough to have a System that supplies you with Banners, use them. If not, go out and have them made for you. Elance.com and WarriorForum.com are a great place to get quality work done for free.

Once you have Banners, start with Money Making Blog Sites. What do I mean? Well a very easy way to see where to advertise is on a blog site such as this. Go to resources like blogcatalog.com, and go through various blogs. Use Search Terms “Home Based Business”, “Make Money from Home”, “Opportunity Review Sites”

Once You have a List of 100 or more sites YOU would frequent, now go to Alexa and get Stat information. Remember the rules we trained on in a previous posting. Then, with you BUDGET begin placing between 7-10 ads a day, with out fail.

Now, that you have a Banner strategy, go hit some free stuff. Utilize Free Internet Classified Ads. Work on content writing and driving traffic. I suggest if you have a new business online to utilize http://www.free-press-release.com/ and http://www.prlog.org/ Do some free press releases. Don’t fall in love with spending a bundle of cash promoting your press release. Just drive some traffic. Plus, you can use these press releases in other ads!!!

A big question I get often is what type of banners convert and don’t convert? Easy, the ones that don’t convert are the one that never are placed. When your a newbie, especially when you are a newbie, forget the psychology a Flash vs. a still Banner. Remember in Advertising you can never say the wrong thing to the right person. The wrong thing is the thing that is never said….Marketers, out smart themselves with who is doing what, how, when where, and why. The marketer that wins, does is with CONSISTENT PERSISTENCE. The time to tweak will come later. For now, here is the rule of the Advertising Jungle:

Whoever gets there Splash Page in front of the Most
People…WINS!!!!

Simple? You bet it is. However, it is the one training and technique that is least talked about. You can never fail when you are taking consistent daily action.

As if you haven’t read enough about me already on my website!

Well, I wrote this short history on myself a few weeks ago to share with my team of marketers, and so I thought I’d post is here for you as well.

I was born in Euclid, Ohio. Spent my childhood years moving from state to state in both the East Coast and Midwest, and abroad twice to Switzerland. I am a dual US/Swiss citizen.

After high school in Switzerland, I came to upstate New York and followed my family’s footsteps by attending Cornell University in beautiful Ithaca, NY. I studied Software Engineering, but never really enjoyed coding much, and so I focused on process re-engineering of software systems and business processes.

I’ve always been an entrepeneur at heart beginning with hot chocolate stands to selling candy bars on the school bus to running a catering business in college to pay for my meals, rent, etc…

In my early professional career, I learned quickly that I wanted to be self employed. And some time after that I KNEW I wanted financial freedom.

Yet, how to get there?

I tried MANY things! I failed miserably with traditional network marketing (Melalauca first, then Xocai chocolate). I tried several work out-of-your-home sales jobs. I took a job with a dot com in San Francisco hoping to make it with stock options, and NEVER saw daylight! NOR my 2-year-old.

Even though we had not yet achieved financial freedom, about three years ago my husband, Mike and I moved our family to our dream location – a rural town in the Sierra Foothills – one hour West of Lake Tahoe and 2.5 hours East of the Pacific Coast and San Francisco.

Yet we paid the price! He left the house every week to travel 200 miles to the Bay Area for work. I ran the household on my own while scrambling to make a buck here and there to make ends meet.

I KNEW that in order to change our situation, I had to make it happen myself. Mike, miserable in his job, heart broken to leave his family each week, had no energy to make a change.

It all started happening around the same time for me (about 1 1/2 years ago)… an introduction to online marketing, the Secret, other self-development books and programs.

I immersed myself deeply in learning… self development books, and every internet marketing eBook, email or teleseminar recording I could get my hands on.

As all you fellow entrepeneurs know, success doesn’t come easy. I literally spend every waking momment either with family or dedicated to my mission. The occassional movie or social activity exists in my life, but TV, reading fiction, shopping… I can’t remember when I’ve last experienced those things.

Every time I step into my car (I do a LOT of driving in this rural area), every time I work out… those “down time” minutes are spent listening to my personal developmnet CDs/mps3. And I don’t feel like I’m missing out, because I know there is a time for everything. I spent the first 36 years of my life “hanging out” on my free time. And I KNOW that one day I will have a LOT more time on my hands as a result of all my hard work.

I was still floundering, though, even with all this knowledge.

Yet, I still kept drudging forward.

Then all of the sudden… things started to come together. Great opportunities came at me from all directions… too many really!

I came up with two great book/eBook ideas that I am writing and that I will eventually market online. I partnered with two experts, a parenting expert and a holistic MD, to help bring them online. Then I found Jenn and GRN, and now Genewize!

I love our mission here, to spread the wealth, to turn more people in the directions we are taking. The majority in this country will never get a chance, because they don’t know HOW to get there, because they have never had the fortune of having a mentor.

To bring you forward… I have two children, Alex, a boy of 9 and Ella, a girl of 5. I turned 40 this year! What a Birthday present to myself to join this team!

I am SO enjoying this, and LOVE getting to know each and every one of you! I look forward to much great teamwork on the road to success!

All my best,
