Let’s face it, selling to your warm market does not work. I’m so glad I’m not doing that anymore! Well then, you might be wondering, How do I find leads for my network marketing business?

I want to teach you how to effectively get your message in front of thousands of interested people on a regular basis – to people who are looking for what you have to offer.

That’s right…people who are out there looking for a home-based business opportunity – just like yours – every day! So why waste your time prospecting family and friends, when
you can reach these people who are already interested?

Let me break it down for you.

Every day, people who are ready for a change in their lives, or who just want to make a few extra thousand per month, sit down at their computers and do a search for terms like:

“home-based business opportunity”

“earn income from home”

“moms working at home”

“network marketing opportunity”

And there are hundreds more, plus thousands of variations on each term.

With my marketing funnels that I have in place online, I am able to capture the attention of these prospects… for free! And, when you have the knowledge of how to do that without paying for their attention, you have the ability to create huge cash flow, no matter what business you’re in.

I attract these people by placing marketing material all over the internet. Material like:

- lead capture pages linked to autoresponders that automatically communicate with my prospects

- social networking profiles like Facebook, MySpace, Squidoo

- forum postings where you help people solve their problems

- a personal website

- articles, videos, press releases and podcasts that add value to people’s lives

Mark my word, the network marketers who know how to do this, who know how to use technology will grow their businesses by leaps and bounds while the struggling network marketer who’s still using ‘old school’ methods, like hassling Aunt Sally, will be left in the dust.

So, if you’re ready to enter the ‘new school’ and learn how to use technology to grow a business quickly from the ground up – with any company you choose, then I suggest you start learning internet marketing.

My ongoing studies of online marketing techniques played a huge role for me being where I am today. If you’re in network marketing already or considering entering the industry, you’ve just got to educate yourself on these wildly successful strategies.

Is a niche like “weight loss” too competitive and should it be avoided?

I’ve always learned that the markets that have tons of interest – like weight loss – are the ones to be in, because it means there are buyers. Don’t want to waste time with markets that have minimal searches.

It all comes down to what keywords people are searching on. I use Word Tracker to do my keyword analysis. The key is to find keywords that are popular – lots of searches on that phrase, yet are not too competitive – not too many webpages with that keyword (under 10K is what I go by, but others may wish to comment).

I take the competitiveness one step further… I do an allintitle:”keyword” in Google to see how many webpages actually have the keyword in the title.

The majority of websites are not at all optimized. So if you do some very basic optimizing, even, such as putting the keyword in the webpage title, you’re doing so much better than the majority out there.

Instead of focusing on a root keyword that is way competitive, such as “weight loss”, the tools can help you find better keywords (populare, yet not too competitive), sich as “weight loss secrets”, or “weight loss program”, or even more narrow like the retired football player idea. Don’t guess though, let the tools tell you what people are ACTUALLY searching on.

Another tool I know of is nicheinspector.com, but haven’t used it.
